Community Ministry is an important form of ministerial service.  The challenge of taking what is learned and taught in the house of worship and bringing those teachings to the streets and communities that need them most.  Sometimes, this means standing up for what I believe is right.  Sometimes, this is directly helping people in need; and sometimes, it is taking my experience in executive leadership to organization that are in need of this service.

As a Community Minister, I work with educational, arts, social justice, community, interfaith, and multifaith organizations. Sometimes the work is as local as a neighborhood, sometimes it is metropolitan, or even national in scope. It is the manifestation of solidarity beyond the walls of the meeting house.
